Fundamental Operating Principals

• All wards and beneficiaries shall be accorded equal procedural protections and safeguards.
• A guardian or representative payee will encourage maximum self-reliance and independence.
• The wishes and desires of the ward/ beneficiary will be pursued, unless that decision is not in his or her best interest.
• The ward will be maintained in the least restrictive appropriate environment.
• The guardian or representative payee shall not exceed the powers given in the letters of authority.
• The ward or beneficiary will be treated with dignity and respect.
• The affairs of the ward are kept confidential.

Fees

Fees for services are assessed based upon the ability to pay. Contracts for services with human service agencies are available.
